Most players are focused on new characters and banners in Version Luna VI, but Genshin Impact is also giving its UGC mode, Miliastra Wonderland, a really good update.
This is not just a small battle pass update either, between a new seasonal system, free cosmetics, and more ways to support creators, the mode is getting a lot more structure, and reasons to finally play it.
A New Season Structure With Leaderboards

The biggest addition is the new “Scaled Edge Season.” It is not just new seasonal skins since this time it introduces a better seasonal format to Miliastra Wonderland. Instead of just jumping into random player-created content, the mode is now split into three phases:
- A short preparation phase after the Luna VI update until April 09, 2026.
- A main play phase with rankings and leaderboards from April 09 to May 19, 2026.
- A showcase phase to close things up from May 19 until the end of Luna VI.
During the main phase, you will be able to earn points by playing ranked Wonderlands, and this finally gives the mode a bit of progression and competition, something it was kind of missing before.
Free Cosmetics Just for Playing

One of the better changes is how much you can actually get for free.
By simply playing popular Wonderlands and completing event objectives, you will be able to unlock the “Timeless Echo” Manekin cosmetic set. You can even choose between variations at first, although that choice becomes permanent once you claim a piece.
There is also a weekly progression system through Scaled Edge Chronicles, where leveling up gives you additional rewards like materials, furnishings, and even free cosmetic sets.

So even if you are not into the competitive side, there are still a lot of rewards you can get just for engaging with the mode.
A New Event That Supports Creators
One of the more interesting additions is “Starlight Voyage: Delight” from May 04 until May 18.
This event gives you Prismatic Crystals that you can spend on “surprise boxes” linked to player-created content. These can include extra Wonderland stages, cosmetics, and more.
The important detail here is that spending those rewards directly supports the creators behind those Wonderlands, turning the mode into something closer to an actual ecosystem rather than just a side feature.

It is a small change on paper, but it could make a big difference if people really engage with it.
More Cosmetics

As expected, cosmetics are a huge part of this update.
There is a new permanent Standard Ode with additional 4-star sets being added over time, alongside a limited-time Event Ode featuring 5-star cosmetic sets like Scaleblade Chronicles.

On top of that, the Miliastra Shop is getting new sets as well, with a 20% discount during their first version, and this is honestly one of the better deals we have seen for this kind of content.
If you are into customization, Luna VI is basically a good moment to invest in that.
Between seasonal progression, better rewards, and actual incentives to engage with player-created content, Miliastra Wonderland is starting to feel like a fully supported mode rather than a side experiment. It is still optional, but with free cosmetics and ongoing updates linked to it, it is clearly something HoYoverse wants players to spend more time in.
Miliastra Wonderland has always had potential, but it never really had a reason to keep coming back. But you might want to give it another try!
