Miliastra Wonderland Overview and Explanation

Miliastra Wonderland is a User-Generated Content system available in Genshin Impact allowing players to design, share and play "stages" made by other members of the community. This takes place entirely within Genshin Impact using many of the same assets.

Players have their own custom avatar, The Manekin, which they use to play user-generated content which can be customised with a wide array of outfits.

This sandbox mode has a plethora of development tools available for players to be able to design and create their own minigames to be shared within the community. Allowing for terrain, enemy placement and even logic systems so players can create any genre of game they like.

Players can unlock Miliastra Wonderland after completing the Archon Quest: Knights of Favonius as part of "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind" Prologue 1. This only requires Adventure Rank 5 and is also the point at which players unlock Wishing and the Shop.

For any new players starting Genshin Impact with the intent of specifically playing Miliastra Wonderland, this can be done within 20 minutes and is essentially Genshin Impact's tutorial.

With its initial release of Luna II, Miliastra Wonderland is currently in a type of "open beta" release allowing anyone to try out the social features, gameplay and customisation available.

Future updates to Miliastra Wonderland will bring both new cosmetics and development tools as well overall improvements to the systems available in Miliastra. Most importantly, an earnings system will be available for creators in a future update allowing skilled developers to earn from the modes they create, much like other UGC games available.

Unlike in Teyvat, in Miliastra Wonderland players will receive 2 new playable characters called the Manekin and Manekina. The Manekins are entirely customiseable allowing you to change their appearance, hairstyles, clothing and even the positions of pieces.

Additionally, the Manekins can be played outside of Miliastra Wonderland and inside of the rest of Genshin Impact, albeit with some restrictions. This allows your character to explore the world and take screenshots/play with your friends inside of Teyvat using your custom outfits and designs. Miliastra Wonderland features a wide range of cosmetics, from Slime hats, to seasonal attire. Plenty of cosmetics are available to customise your Manekin. Some of these outfits/pieces are available simply though gameplay while others are obtained through Gacha, a Battle Pass and a Shop.

Odes are the gacha system available in Miliastra Wonderland allowing players to obtain exclusive sets using the currencies available from Miliastra. The gacha in Miliastra will not use Primogems or any other currencies present in the main Genshin Impact.

There is however both a "Standard Ode" as well as an "Event Ode" taking the place of the Standard/Character banners you may be used to.

The Miliastra Pass is the Battle Pass equivalent of Miliastra Wonderland rewarding expressions, cosmetics and special currencies limited to Miliastra. Much like the Battle Pass of Genshin Impact, the Miliastra Pass features weekly quests and an EXP system to progress and level through your pass.

Furthermore, purchasing the Pass in either Miliastra Wonderland or Genshin Impact will provide players with discounts for the equivalent version in the other game.

The Wonderland Lobby is how you can play with others and interact in Miliastra Wonderland. Personal lobbies are available for 1-12 players allowing you to control the access via a password and invite. Public lobbies on the other hand can hold up to 20 players instead.

The Miliastra Sandbox is how players are able to edit and design games to play inside of Miliastra Wonderland. This features a robust set of tools allowing players to place enemies, manipulate game mechanics and utilise many of the assets that Genshin Impact already has. Additionally, players can even upload their own assets allowing for even more custom content.

That being said, the Miliastra Sandbox is only supported on PC meaning that any Mobile or Console players will be unable to design their own gamemodes within Miliastra Wonderland. Mobile and Console players can still play games in Miliastra Wonderland, they just are unable to create new modes.
