Inorganic Construct Marks the Next Phase of Endfield’s Endgame

The Umbral Monument challenge in Arknights: Endfield is no longer just a three-stage “introduction”. With the release of the Inorganic Construct series today, the second half of the event is now live, completing the full six-stage structure introduced during the Zeroth Directive version.

And unlike most combat events, Umbral Monument is not going anywhere because it is a permanent endgame content.

The Challenge Continues

If the first three stages felt like a systems check because a lot of players were able to try it during the Beta. However, Inorganic Construct is where the real thing gets serious, since no one has technically tested it yet. The new series adds:

  • Three additional stages
  • Normal and Agony difficulty modes
  • Engraved medals for full Normal clears
  • Trimmed medals for clearing everything on Agony

Normal mode unlocks Agony, but Agony is where builds get tested. It is made significantly harder and clearly designed for players who are already comfortable pushing the game’s combat systems.

For medal hunters, trimmed versions will likely become early prestige markers for Endfield’s endgame.

Rewards and Event Update

Clearing the new stages grants rewards, including:

  • Mark of Perseverance
  • Advanced Cognitive Carrier
  • Arms INSP Set
  • Protohedron

At the same time, the limited-time Monumental Etching: Old Wounds event updates its milestone rewards. Completing Umbral Monument challenges during the event period will unlock refreshed rewards linked to this new series.

Unlock Requirements

To access Umbral Monument, you have to complete Chapter I Process II: Paving the Way and reach Authority Level 30. Once unlocked, the content remains permanently available on all servers starting February 22, 2026.

With the Inorganic Construct series now live, Umbral Monument officially feels complete, at least in its initial form. This mode is definitely going to be the starting point of Endfield’s long-term endgame content.

And since the mode is permanent, this is not a race against time. It is a long-term challenge that players can measure themselves against as the game evolves. Just make sure you grab the limited rewards before the time is over!
