Genshin 6.0 Imaginarium Theatre: Lauma or Just Free Carry?

If you’re looking for primogems right when the Nod-Krai update launches, Imaginarium Theatre is one of the most efficient sources, but only if you’re prepared enough! So what can you expect in the next rotation?

Featured Characters: Is Lauma Necessary?

This time, Hydro, Electro and Geo will be the featured elements. Following Ineffa’s release, it makes sense that Genshin decided to put the Lunar-charged reaction in the spotlight. If you pulled for her, you will definitely have an easier time clearing it with full stars.

But if you don’t have Ineffa on your account, here are the Opening Characters, which you will be able to try for free:

The three 5-star characters are Yelan, Varesa and Arataki Itto, and the 4-star characters are Aino, Iansan and Gorou. Yelan and Varesa remain powerful characters in their respective roles. So if you don’t have them, be sure to take them on your Theatre run.

Arataki Itto and Gorou still prevail as the mono-Geo duo. If you’re not familiar with their gameplay, don’t worry, it is very easy to learn.

Aino is also featured in this list, suggesting you may obtain her on the first Nod-Krai banner. According to leaks, she will be a powerful unit in your team, based on her fast Hydro application for a 4-star. And finally, Iansan is the go-to Natlan character if you’re looking for strong team-wide buffs.

But what about the Special Invitations characters?

Without much surprise, Lauma is featured on the list, as she will most likely be featured on Nod-Krai’s first limited banner. She is powerful when paired with characters who specialize in Bloom reactions, such as Nilou. Baizhu will be an excellent option for a Dendro shielder, and both Charlotte and Ifa will bring great utility based on the boss lineup for this rotation!

Keep in mind that “Special Invitations” characters are not given for free compared to the “Opening” characters. They will provide you with a slight buff, but you need to have them on your account to use them.

Boss Lineup: The Bird and Big Mecha combo

Here are the bosses you need to defeat to clear the 6.0 Imaginarium Theatre:

The boss of the Third Act is the Automated Supercomputing Field Generator. Geo and Fontaine characters will have an easy time dealing with it. Geo characters will be able to destroy the Geo ward around his core. And Fontaine characters will turn off his Gravity Reduction field with Pneuma attacks.

ASIMON (I won’t say its full name) is the boss of the Sixth Act. Electro characters are the way to go here because they can turn off his invisibility. This will save you a lot of time in the fight.

The Eighth Act features the Statue of Marble and Brass. You will need Geo characters to destroy his shields effectively, so save some of them before this fight. If you don’t have any Geo characters left, the boss will spawn resonators during the fight. Destroy them to deplete his ward.

The boss on the Tenth Act is the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant. Using Elements that react with Pyro will be the key to this fight. He will be airborne most of the time if you don’t destroy the Flamewind Feathers that he drops.

And finally, if you choose to challenge yourself in the Visionary mode, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom will be your final opponent. In the absence of Pyro, Electro attacks will be your best option to deal with this boss.

They will put it in an Activated state, which will exhaust it after a series of attacks. When exhausted, you will have a huge damage window to deal as much damage as you can.

Players’ opinions on the Theatre remain divided, but it is still a great way to accumulate Primogems for the upcoming gacha banners. So be sure to gear up your characters before the update!
