Ineffa Guide and Best Builds for Genshin Impact

Strengths

• Provides great off-field damage while also providing some shielding.
• Provides Elemental Mastery buffs to themselves as well as the active Party member.
• Can easily maintain the 100% uptime on Birgitta.

Weaknesses

• Main Synergies are not yet available until Nod-Krai releases adding new sets, weapons and Lunar-Charged DPS.
• While an overall solid unit with a lot of flexibility, many of the teams Ineffa buffs are still not necessarily meta for that character.
• No Hydro units currently fully synergise with Ineffa while one is still required for reactions.

Ineffa is a new 5-Star Electro Polearm user utilising a new "Lunar-Charged" elemental reaction type. Check out our Ineffa build below to see what you should use on your Ineffa.

Ineffa has a wide range of viable weapon options in this build, with her Signature weapon Fractured Halo, being her best polearm and will likely increase in value as more Electro-Charged characters are added. Other good options include a range of viable 5-Star stat sticks you can build, Deathmatch and Ballad of the Fjords. Alternatively, Favonius Lance is always a solid support option for team Energy Recharge.

None of the current artifact build options are great for Ineffa, and with Lunar-Charged being a 6.0 mechanic, there is a very good chance of having a more functional artifact set for Ineffa in 6.0. So invest wisely at the moment. At the moment it is recommended to simply build Ineffa with Gilded Dreams and Tenacity of the Millelith while holding off on investing heavily.

Build recommendations assume a "decently built" level of artifact rolls alongside Ineffa's best weapon. Using other weapons may increase or decrease certain stats relative to these recommendations.

Ineffa is a relatively versatile Electro unit capable of supporting a range of teams. That being said, Ineffa does need at least one Hydro character for elemental reactions to activate their A1 Overclocking Circuit to enable Lunar/Electro-Charged in teams. This does not need to happen super regularly as the thunderclouds stay on-field for around 5 seconds.

Being an Lunar/Electro-Charged character, Ineffa is of course perfect for Taser teams. Generally utilising Anemo drivers such as Ifa, Yumemizuki Mizuki and Sucrose for high damage.

Ineffa is a great boost to Neuvillette teams, being able to provide shielding for interruptions at C0, high damage and also allows Neuvillette to maintain a stack of Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority. That being said, while Ineffa is Neuvillette's best C0 team at the time of writing this, as a Hypercarry, she does not scale as good with higher investment into Furina or Neuvillette.

Overvape teams can work really well with Ineffa due to her not requiring constant uptime on reactions to maintain Overclocking Circuit as long as enough reactions are taking place to keep the cloud up you're good!

Electro Main DPS such as Clorinde, Varesa and even Raiden Shogun can benefit from what Ineffa brings to the party and generally improves this archetype although Overloaded-variants will often perform better still.

Ineffa can be a great shielder/source of Electro DMG for Hyperbloom teams especially with Alhaitham allowing reactions to take place. Double Hydro or Electro variants can be played depending on rotation, available characters and preferences.
