Ineffa's Stat Priority
Ineffa scales much better from ATK % than EM, so ATK % should be used over EM on the Sands and Goblet, unless she is also triggering a reaction such as Hyperbloom. Building ATK % on Ineffa is not only more damage than EM, but it also increases the strength of her Shield, and the size of her Elemental Mastery buff.
Ineffa does not benefit from Elemental DMG %, so a DMG % Goblet should never be used. On the substats, depending on how much value your on-fielder gains from Elemental Mastery, it can be worth getting ER substats to use Ineffa's Burst every rotation. However, ER can also be ignored entirely and just user her Burst every other rotation instead.
Recommended Stats for Ineffa
Build recommendations assume a "decently built" level of artifact rolls alongside Ineffa's best free to play weapon, Prospector's Shovel. Using other weapons may increase or decrease certain stats relative to these recommendations.
If Ineffa is on a CRIT Damage Circlet, expect higher CRIT Damage and less CRIT Rate than shown here. The amount of Energy Recharge also varies from team to team, but the amount shown is sufficient for her to Burst every rotation on teams with a second Electro unit.
Ineffa's Talent Priority
Although most of Ineffa's damage comes from her Ascension 1 passive, it is still important to level her Skill, as it increases the strength of her Shield. Ineffa's Burst is not a large part of her damage, so it doesn't need to be fully leveled, but it is still worth getting to at least Level 6. Ineffa's Normal Attack talent doesn't need to be leveled at all, as it is not an actively used part of her kit.
How to Play Ineffa
Ineffa's playstyle is casting her Skill and/or Burst, and then swapping to the next character in the rotation. With her Skill, she will create her Shield, and summon Brigitta to deal AoE Electro damage every 2 seconds on a long 20 second duration. With Hydro on the team for the Lunar-Charged Reaction, Brigitta will also deal direct extremely high direct Lunar-Charged Damage, which is where the vast majority of her damage comes from. Casting Ineffa's Burst won't create the Shield, but will summon Brigitta If Brigitta was already present, Ineffa's Burst will refresh its duration, allowing Brigitta to last even longer than 20 seconds over a full rotation.
Ineffa's Best Constellations
| Constellation | % of C0 | % From Previous Constellation |
|---|---|---|
| C0 | 100% |
100% |
| C1 | 110% | 110% |
| C2 | 143% | 130% |
| C3 | 144% | 102% |
| C4 | 164% | 117% |
| C5 | 165% | 101% |
| C6 | 256% | 155% |
With the exception of her C1, Ineffa's Constellations are all focused on improving her personal damage rather than giving her more supportive capabilities. As such, in teams where she's a smaller portion of the total team damage, such as in a Flins team, Ineffa's Constellations are of lower value. But the 50 Lunar-Charged DMG% from Ineffa's C1 is a team-wide buff, so on teams where Lunar-Charged is the majority of the teams damage, her C1 is strong and a great investment. After C1, C2 is the next best stopping point unless you plan to go all the way to C6.
