Who is Skirk?

Skirk is one of Genshin Impact’s most mysterious figures, known primarily through lore references and her connections to Childe. She is believed to hail from the Abyss, having personally trained Childe during his time in the Abyss.

Players also first see Skirk during Fontaine’s Archon Quest briefly before fighting the whale boss.

Skirk’s Talents:

Foul Art: Rend

Normal Attack
Performs up to 5 consecutive attacks.

Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to throw a revolving crystal pole, dealing DMG to opponents in front.

Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Foul Art: Flash

Elemental Skill
Imitates The Foul’s combat style. Has different effects when Tapped or Held.

Tap
Skirk gains 45 stacks of Serpent’s Subtlety, and enters the Seven-Phase Flash mode.

Hold
Skirk gains 45 stacks of Serpent’s Subtlety and engages in continuous, swift movement, during which Skirk’s resistance to interruption is increased.

During this time, Skirk can control this rapid movement and end it by using this Skill again.

Foul Art: Ruin

Elemental Burst
Skirk’s Elemental Burst is not reliant on Energy, but instead, on Serpent’s Subtlety.

When Skirk has at least 50 stacks of Serpent’s Subtlety, Skirk can use Elemental Burst, consuming all Serpent’s Subtlety stacks, ripping apart the space in front of her and dealing consecutive slashes of Cryo AoE DMG.

The DMG dealt by this Elemental Burst is increased based on the Serpent’s Subtlety stacks over 50 when casting this skill. A maximum of 12 stacks can be counted.

When Skirk is under the Seven-Phase Flash mode, Elemental Burst Foul Art: Ruin is replaced by Foul Art: Decimate.

Foul Art: Decimate

Elemental Burst (Yes another one)
A special Elemental Burst that does not consume Serpent’s Subtlety.

After casting this skill, Skirk gains Withering, lasting until Seven-Phase Flash ends. After unlocking the Talent Reason Beyond Reason, Skirk can also absorb nearby Void Rifts.

During Withering, every 0.1s, when Skirk’s Normal Attack hits an enemy, the DMG dealt by this Normal Attack is increased. If Void Rifts are absorbed when casting Foul Art: Decimate, the DMG dealt by this Normal Attack is further increased based on the number of Void Rifts absorbed. This can trigger max 10 times.

Skirk’s Ascension Passives

Reason Beyond Reason

Ascension Talent

When nearby party members trigger Frozen, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, or Cryo Crystallize reactions against opponents, a Void Rift will be created near this opponent. This effect can be triggered once every 2.5s. At most 3 Void Rifts created by Skirk herself can exist on the field at once.

Skirk will absorb nearby Void Rifts via the following:
• Hitting an opponent with Charged Attack under the Seven-Phase Flash mode;
• Casting the special Elemental Burst Foul Art: Decimate under the Seven-Phase Flash mode;
• Moving swiftly during the Hold mode of Elemental Skill Foul Art: Flash.

Each Rift absorbed will grant her 8 Serpent’s Subtlety stacks.

Return to Oblivion

Ascension Talent

When nearby Hydro party members deal Hydro DMG, or when nearby other Cryo party members deal Cryo DMG, Skirk gains 1 stack of Death’s Crossing, lasting 20s, max 3 stacks. Each stack is counted independently. Each party member can only grant Skirk 1 stack of Death’s Crossing.

When Skirk has Death’s Crossing stacks, Normal Attacks under the Seven-Phase Flash mode will deal 110% / 120% / 170% of the original DMG, and Elemental Burst Foul Art: Ruin will deal 105% / 115% / 160% of the original DMG.
