HoYoverse has officially announced the livestream for Genshin Impact Version 5.7, and it’s happening this Friday, June 6, 2025 at 08:00 AM (UTC-4). The special program will go live on Twitch and YouTube, and will feature all the new content, events, and updates coming in the next version. On top of it you can get ready the usual Primogem codes and other in-game rewards.
Where to Watch
You can watch the stream on Genshin Impact’s official channels:
Dainsleif and the Twins Are Back
The promotional art for the stream shows Dainsleif alongside both Lumine and Aether, hinting at major developments in the main story.
Lumine even appears to be tearing through the sky of Teyvat? This could mean that dramatic changes to the world and lore are on the way in 5.7. Many players hope that this version will finally bring long-awaited answers about the Traveler twins and the fate of Khaenri’ah. Is Teyvat even real? We’ve already seen Mavuika punch a massive hole in the sky as well.
Concerns About Voice Acting
While players are excited, some are also worried. With the recent voice acting strikes and contract issues, Aether and Lumine might remain silent during key scenes. This is something that already happened in previous updates. Many are hoping that HoYoverse has either reached an agreement with the voice actors or found replacements for the English version.
It would definitely be a shame to have another important scene ruined by an awkward silence.
