Honkai: Star Rail has just revealed officially the new form of Dan Heng! And yes, this marks his third playable version in the game. Meet Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae, a 5-star Physical Preservation character.
According to the official social media reveal, Permansor Terrae is now one of the Chrysos Heirs, charged with guarding the Coreflame of Earth. With pretty dense lore and his typical dramatic and pretty cool look, Dan Heng again gets a really nice evolution! A bit like a pokemon.
Who Is Permansor Terrae?
In his new role, Dan Heng is not just a small lancer or Imbibitor Lunae anymore. He is becoming a pillar of Permanence, both literally and symbolically. This form is described as a Preservation path character, so tank or support role centered around defense, shielding, or sustaining allies.
His affiliation has definitely also shifted toward something much bigger:
“Nameless Dan Heng, Chrysos Heir who guards the Earth’s Coreflame… you must steady the world as it falls, and guide all life across the land to a new home beyond.”
There are also direct references to Georios, the Pillar of Stone, and some totally mythical pictures, mountains echoing in chorus, shattered earth, a walking dragon carrying the world. Yep, he is clearly leaning into that even more legendary, near-divine status now.
