Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4, For the Sun is Set to Die, launches on 02/07/2025 running until 23/07/2025. Phase 1 of the update will feature the new “To Evermore Burn as the Sun” banner. Introducing Phainon, a new 5-star Physical character from the Path of Destruction, alongside returning characters Sparkle, Sunday, and Tribbie.
Phase 1 is Here – Version 3.4 Banner Launch
Phainon, a new 5-star Physical character from the Path of Destruction, is now available to join your team! As a Main DPS specialising in single target DMG, Phainon shines when paired with support characters who buff damage and speed making Sunday and Sparkle excellent teammates.
Sparkle, a returning Quantum character from the Path of Harmony, is a powerful support unit, especially effective at boosting CRIT DMG. She works well when teamed up with characters who consume a lot of Skill Points, such as Phainon and Acheron.
Sunday, a returning Imaginary character from the Path of Harmony, is a universal support unit focused on boosting overall DPS, especially when paired with high damage dealers. By enhancing CRIT DMG and restoring Energy through his skills, he’s a valuable asset to nearly any team setup.
Tribbie, a returning Quantum character from the Path of Harmony, is effective both as a DPS and support. She shines in teams built around multiple DPS characters, delivering valuable buffs that boost overall damage. Her follow-up attacks also contribute consistent offense, strengthening her role in battle.
Additionally, this update will include boosted 4-star characters Tingyun, March 7th (Preservation) and Yukong.
Coming in the 3.4 Phase 1 Update: Featured Weapons
The 3.4 Phase 1 update introduces a brand new 5-star Light Cone for Phainon, “Thus Burns the Dawn”. Alongside it, the signature 5-star weapons for Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle return, accompanied by a selection of 4-star Light Cones.
Alongside this, several popular 5-star Light Cones are making a return, including:
