Honkai: Star Rail have announced a new game mode called Currency Wars. This new mode will be released during the Version 3.7 Update which will additionally feature a change in the way the Simulated/ Divergent Universe schedule currently runs. We can expect a couple new rewards from this new mode which you can find more about below.
What is Currency Wars?
Currency Wars is a new game mode being introduced in the Version 3.7 Update in Honkai: Star Rail. This mode features rewards known as Point Rewards which include Stellar Jades, Star Rail Passes, Tracks of Destiny, Herta Bonds, Lost Crystals, and credits which are the same as the current game mode Simulated Universe. In addition to these rewards you can also expect to obtain 2 new items Deep Immersifiers and Fuel Vouchers but can only be obtained a certain number of times each refresh. This refresh will happen every monday fortnight in alteration to the Simulated Universe and will last for 2 weeks rather than 1 week.
The Simulated Universe currently resets every week but once Currency Wars has been implemented in 3.7 we will see an adjustment in the scheduling which changes to every other week rather than every week. Although this change is happening we will still see the same amount of rewards every week as the Currency Wars mode will include identical rewards in addition to the 2 new rewards which can be obtained.
What Are The New Rewards?
The 2 new rewards that can be obtained through Currency Wars includes Deep Immersifiers and Fuel Vouchers. Deep Immersifiers allow you to ignore combat and gain the rewards from the stage immediately when extracting Planar Ornaments which is beneficial for time saving when your doing a lot of farming. Fuel Vouchers are used in conjunction with your Trailblaze power to allow you to gain Calyx/ Stagnant Shadow rewards faster which is great again if you need to quickly farm materials or need to spend your daily Trailblaze Power.
What Changes Are Happening to the Simulated Universe?
In the upcoming 3.7 update we can expect the Simulated Universe to refresh every monday fortnight at 04:00 server time which will be the same as the new mode Currency Wars which each mode will run in turn. Upon completing the Simulated Universe Cyclical Extrapolation for the very first time the rewards will be adjusted to 60x Relic Remains and 6x Lost Crystals. The Simulated Universe will still continue to include the Divergent Universe as it currently does.
