Capcom has officially postponed today’s Monster Hunter Showcase! It was originally scheduled for December 8 at 2 PM PST / 10 PM GMT on the official Monster Hunter Twitch and YouTube channels, but for now it has been pushed to a future date.
During this livestream, Capcom was supposed to reveal new information on Monster Hunter Stories 3, along with full details about Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 4. However, the company announced that it will be delayed because of the recent earthquake off the coast of Japan that led to a tsunami warning being issued.
Earlier today, Capcom shared a post on social media confirming that the decision was made out of safety concerns and respect for the ongoing situation. No new date has been announced yet, but they said they will share updated details and a new date for the livestream as soon as they can.
For now, we will have to wait a bit longer for the next big Monster Hunter updates, and we will keep an eye out for the new showcase announcement!
