Capcom has officially confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds Update Ver.1.021 will be released on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. This update was technically planned for early August. However, it has been slightly delayed to incorporate additional endgame content that was previously scheduled for Title Update 3 in late September.
What Is Coming in Ver.1.021
The main content that will be added or updated for this version is:
- New Level of Quest Difficulty – Prepare for even more harder fights and a ton of new endgame challenges.
- New Rewards System – Earn Talismans with randomized skill combinations, giving you more build options and variety.
- Expanded Weapon Balance Adjustments – More weapons are getting balance adjustments than initially planned.
- General Improvements & Changes – Additional polish and fixes to improve gameplay, stability and more, overall.
As mentioned before, these features were originally planned for later but have now been moved up, making the next big updates a much bigger and important update than expected.
Flamefete Festival Extended
On top of the early additional update content, Capcom also decided to extend the duration of the Flamefete Festival!
- Original End Date: August 6, 2025
- New End Date: August 13, 2025
