With the launch of Season 10 of New World: Aeternum quickly approaching on October 13, 2025, players from across the globe are logging back in and grinding to prepare for the new content. If you plan on returning to New World, creating a new character, or even trying it out for the first time, then this is the week to do it!
From now up until Monday, September 29, players will gain Double Weapon Experience, making it even easier to max out all of your weapons prior to the launch of Season 10.
By hitting max level for each weapon, you’ll not only obtain an in-game achievement, but you’ll also be able to adjust your builds more easily and swap between different weapons easier based on what you’re trying to accomplish. Additionally, when you max out a weapon in New World, you’ll also max out the amount of skill points you can put into skills for that specific weapon, making you hit and/or heal even harder!
Best Place to Level Weapons in New World: Aeternum
One of the most efficient places to level weapons within New World: Aeternum is by grouping up with a handful of players and going to “Tor To-Riven” within Edengrove, just south of the Elysian Shrine (pictured below).
When you get to this location, a mini event will proc leading to multiple waves of mobs and named enemies, providing an amazing location to defeat a large number of enemies all in the same location very, very quickly. This leads to a great amount of weapon XP, making it one of the best spots in the game to grind out weapon levels. Add in a Weapon XP Booster item, and you’ll hit level 20 on every weapon in no time!
