ARC Raiders Download Size

If you are planning to preload or clear some space, here is how much storage you will need on each platform:

  • PlayStation: 16.19 GB
  • Xbox: 29.05 GB
  • PC: 32.66 GB

Time to delete some old games and get ready for ARC Raiders! You can already preload the game on Steam, however, due to some issues, pre-loads on Epic Store are not available, and you will have to wait for launch.

Creator Embargo Lifts Today

The review and preview embargo also lifts today, so expect a ton of gameplay and impressions from creators who had early access.

Most of them got to play around four hours during a special event, showing off the new map and features coming at launch.

If you do not want any spoilers, we recommend you scroll carefully on social media, as a lot of information will most likely be shared!

Clearing Up Some Pre-Launch Confusion

With ARC Raiders’ hype building, a few bits of misinformation have been spreading in the community, so players gathered on Reddit in order to clear some things up and share what is actually confirmed:

  • There will be four maps available at launch (plus the practice range).
  • Stella Montis, a teased new area, is expected around Christmas, according to Embark’s design director.
  • The Server Slam only represented about 10-15% of progression (roughly the first five hours of gameplay), not 10-15% of the full content.
  • Tech Test 2 was not 20-30% of the game, no one knows the exact percentage.
  • The huge ARC constructs seen outside the map are not “kings” or “barons”; they do not have official names yet.
  • That fox hat in the trailer? It is a headdress, not a furry cosmetic.
  • Gear-based matchmaking is not in the game right now. Embark is focusing on keeping Solo Queue and Squad Queue separate.
  • Oh, and Bisons are now Leapers.

With all this in mind, get ready to head topside, scavenger, it is almost time! You also want to keep an eye on our latest news for more guides and information over the launch weekend!
