Borderlands 4 has only been out for a week, but Gearbox is already addressing player feedback with updates, fixes, and even some bonus in-game rewards.
In a community post, the developers thanked everyone for jumping into Kairos and making the launch week a huge success. Millions of Vault Hunters have already started their adventures, and the team says they have been carefully listening to feedback since day one.
PC Performance Fixes Are Priority #1
One of the biggest problem so far has been bugs and crashes on PC. Despite the weird takes from Randy Pitchford, Gearbox acknowledged the issue and confirmed that stability and performance updates began rolling out over the weekend, with another patch planned for this Thursday. The team said that “This is our top priority.“
If you have had issues with performance, it should hopefully be fully fixed by the end of this week!
Field of View Slider Coming to Consoles
Console players can also look forward to a Field of View (FOV) slider, that is currently in testing. Some players reported performance concerns tied to the feature, and Gearbox says they are actively investigating before pushing updates live.
Free Rewards for All Players
To celebrate launch week, the developers also dropped extra in-game rewards with the Break Free Pack, available now to all players as a thank-you for the warm welcome.
