Gearbox is inviting Borderlands 4 players to a weekend of chaos and complete mayhem! From September 12 to 14, Vault Hunters across all platforms are encouraged to crash-land into Kairos and cause as much chaos as possible to help unlock the Break Free Pack.
How Does It Work
All you have to do is play the game over the weekend. The developers will be monitoring player activity behind the scenes. If the community collectively reaches the required level of mayhem, Gearbox will distribute a SHiFT code for the Break Free Pack.
They did not give any specific number of required play or player activity in game, but if there is one weekend you need to play Borderlands 4, it is definitely that one! So get all your friends, and start wreaking havoc on Kairos!
Note that participation is not mandatory. However, the more chaos the community causes, the sooner the SHiFT code is shared. But you do not need to play to claim the rewards. Even if you do not own the game yet, you can redeem the SHiFT code through your account. The items will be available in-game whenever you log in, so you can enjoy them once you have access.
Break Free Pack Rewards
- 1 Vault Hunter Skin usable by Vex, Rafa, Amon, and Harlowe
- 1 Legendary Ripper Shield that scales to your Vault Hunter level (minimum Lvl 25)
The rewards are pretty sweet, so gear up, grab your friends, and log in! And who knows, if the numbers reach records, maybe they will drop a few more goodies in the package!
