Preloads have already gone live on all platforms. The official release is set for October 10, 2025, and this time there is no Early Access. This means everyone, regardless of edition, will start at the same time.

When Can You Start Playing Battlefield 6?

As mentioned, EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will go live simultaneously across all regions. They released a complete map, and you can check the launch time for your timezone here:

If you are located in Tokyo or Sydney, the game only releases on October 11 for you! For all the others, you will have to get ready soon!

Players on Steam can jump into Battlefield 6 directly without needing to launch the EA App, though an EA account will still be required to log in. However, those who purchased the game through the Epic Games Store will need both the EA App and an EA account to play. Meanwhile, EA Play Pro subscribers will gain unlimited access to the Phantom Edition right from Day 1, but only through the EA App.

EA also confirmed that all post-launch content in Season 1 will be free for all players, with more maps, weapons, and limited-time events planned for 2026!

Get ready, the fun will start soon, and you can expect plenty more to come!
