Far Far West, one of the newest and most popular indie games that has taken the world by storm, has just announced that it has officially sold over 1 million copies.
What is Far Far West?
Although, just in case you are one of the few who don’t know what Far Far West is. Here is a quick rundown. Far Far West is a very chaotic and fast-paced 1-4 player co-op shooter where your objective is to embark on missions to shoot and blast cryptics and other monsters to get paid.
But what makes Far Far West so interesting is its very smooth and tight movement, satisfying gunplay, spell slinging, and of course the randomness of jokers. What are jokers? They are modifiers that randomly drop during every run. Ultimately, adding a little bit of a rogue-like element to each mission. But by leveling up or gambling, you can permanently unlock jokers to equip to your character or guns to create the perfect build.
Ultimately, what keeps players coming back, if it isn’t the satisfying gameplay, is that Far Far West is exploding with personality. Everything from the smallest interaction in the hub to the way each enemy recognizes and fights you is incredibly charming and memorable. And we haven’t even mentioned the amazing soundtrack.
