Ahead of Fellowship’s early access launch, players have a chance to jump in during the open beta this weekend. Anyone can sign up and instantly join the Fellowship open beta, starting Thursday, September 18th, and running until the 23rd.
Fellowship Open Beta
This will be the final beta before Fellowship launches into early access on October 16th. This beta will also include a range of new content that the developers have been teasing for the past few months, including the newest melee DPS hero, Mara, and Ardeos will be making a return.
In total, all eight heroes will be available to play, which rounds up to 2 Tanks, 4 DPS, and 2 Healers. Giving new and older players the chance to try all of the different roles and play styles each character brings to the table.
New Content
Alongside Mara and Ardeos, there will be a handful of new things to experience. The open beta promises a fresh take on matchmaking and a better group finder. An enhanced progression system with Weapons, Gems, Talents, Crafting, Legendary items, and more.
There will also be a new dungeon for players to explore, Urrak Markets. There will also be more cosmetic customization, which allows you to alter your armor, new Gear, and Mounts. All of this is bundled with new visual element improvements and improvements on previous gameplay mechanics based on Steam Next Fest player feedback.
What is Fellowship?
For those who don’t know or haven’t played Fellowship yet, if you’re a World of Warcraft fan, it’s a game built entirely around Mythic+. There are no quests, no storylines, nothing but the grind and what dungeons you choose to delve into. Queue up with a party of 4, with one tank leading the charge, a healer to sustain the party, and two damage dealers to clean house.
Fellowship is built for those who enjoy games with a grind. However, what makes Fellowship so special is that there’s no fluff, or no interruptions with dungeons and raids designed to take roughly 10 to at most 30 minutes a run, depending on the instance.
How Do I Sign Up?
Signing up for this beta is easy. All you need to do is:
- Head to Fellowship’s Steam page
- Click the “Join the Fellowship Playtest”
- Download the Open Beta build
It’s that simple. Just remember that you only have between September 18th and September 23rd to play the Open Beta.
