NetEase Games, in collaboration with Naked Rain, is back with a full 10-minute gameplay trailer for their upcoming open-world urban RPG ANANTA.
After an earlier 7-minute teaser, this extended video goes even deeper into the chaotic streets of Nova City, showing off car races, explosive gunfights, and intense action that will keep adrenaline junkies on the edge of their seat.
You can watch the gameplay trailer here:
Ten Minutes of Pure Chaos
The gameplay feels remarkably familiar to fans of superhero games. You are swinging through the city, grappling onto cars, and performing acrobatic maneuvers, and it is really just like a certain Sony-promoted web-slinger.
Fans are worried that this could put the game in some sort of trouble, like Palworld with Nintendo. However, given that Sony has featured ANANTA on their PlayStation channel, the animations may be fully authorized.
It seems unlikely that Sony would feature gameplay so similar to one of their own games without prior approval and authorization. On top of that, it is published by NetEase, who also owns Marvel Rivals, so not impossible they already had rights over Spider-Man Animations.

Welcome to Nova City
Jump into the shoes of a new captain in Nova City, a chaotic city playground where even traffic jams can turn into huge action scenes. The trailer shows it all! You got crazy car chases, rooftop stunts, and fights that happen right in the middle of the street.
Sure, there are hints of futuristic RPG stuff, such as mysterious companions, weird creatures, and crazy abilities, but the real star here is smooth movement, nonstop combat, and exploring a city that is alive and full of chaos.

Platforms and TGS Demo
ANANTA is present at Tokyo Game Show 2025, and if you attend it, you have a chance to experience the game firsthand. For everyone else, the game is planned for PS5, PC, iOS, and Android, but a release date has yet to be confirmed.
