Forza Horizon 6 early access players are continuing to discover just how far the new customization systems go, and one feature getting a lot of attention right now is the expanded Garage Customization system.

The game only officially launches tomorrow for standard edition players, but Premium Edition owners already have access, and the community is quickly turning garages into everything from neon Japanese car hangouts to full sci-fi facilities.

Honestly, some of the creations already look more like custom maps than simple garages.

You Can Fully Decorate Your Garage

Forza Horizon 6 now allows you to customize the garages attached to your in-game houses. There are currently 8 customizable garages total, and one linked to each player’s house, including Mei’s starter house.

To start customizing, you simply need to visit one of your owned houses, open the “Customizable Garage” tab, and select “Customize Garage”. From there, you gain access to a full editor with:

  • Free camera controls
  • A library full of items
  • Furniture and themed objects you can spend credits on
  • Vehicle display positioning
  • And more

You can also reset everything and empty your entire garage if you want to. For those who do not want to customize it on their own, there is an option to download designs made by other players. For this, you need to go to the “Browse & Manage” tab and select “Browse Community Garages”. You can then just download the one you like.

Keep in mind that you will still have to spend the credit to obtain all the items required for the layout. They do not magically get added for free to your garage.

Players Are Already Building Some Insane Designs

One of the biggest reasons the feature is already so popular is because of how flexible the editor actually is, and the crazy designs players have already come up with. Some of the most popular creations shared so far include:

  • Japanese neon street garages
  • Modern luxury showrooms
  • Underground hangouts
  • Industrial racing workshops
  • Sci-fi themed garages

One especially popular layout even turns the garage into a full Halo Forerunner facility.

Garages can also be opened to other players by enabling visitor permissions, so if you want, you can even show your cool garage to your friends and turn it into a chill hangout.

This Might End Up Being One of Horizon 6’s Most Popular Features

Forza Horizon has always had a lot of customization systems for cars themselves, but this time it really lets you add even more personality to the game. And judging by how quickly the community started building themed garages during early access, this could easily become one of the most popular side features in the entire game.

Especially for those who spend hours collecting cars, finally having a fully customizable place to actually showcase them feels like a surprisingly cool addition.
