One of the newest popular open-world survival craft games, RuneScape Dragonwilds, just dropped an update to their 2026 Roadmap, and is promising consistent content updates every month throughout the rest of the year. On top of this, RuneScape Dragonwilds put out their 0.11.2 early access patch at the same time!
What is RuneScape Dragonwilds?

For those who are unaware or have maybe forgotten, RuneScape Dragonwilds is an open-world survival crafting game similar to Valheim or Unshrouded, but set in the RuneScape universe. What sets this game apart from other survival-craft games is its implementation of skills and a class system similar to Old School RuneScape. Mixing magic and old school fantasy in just the right ways.
RuneScape Dragonwilds initially came almost out of the blue and took the genre by storm. While the game has overflowing personality and style, the lack of content at launch discouraged many players from picking it up. But ever since its initial early access release, there have been several major updates, including the Dowdun Reach & Fellhollow updates.
But today, the developers have put out a second, more in-depth roadmap, ensuring there is plenty of upcoming content for players to dive into.
RuneScape Dragonwilds Roadmap Update

With this updated roadmap, five major updates are planned this year, with two already released. June will see the release of the Umbral Sands update, promising Ashenfall’s largest region to date. Later in September, players will be getting the Scorned Wilderness update, which also brings the climactic confrontation of Kuldra’s Saga.
Plus, the 0.11.2 update that came out today brought a ton of Runecrafting Changes, made adjustments to the Attunement system, and lowered teleportation costs. So now is a very good time to jump in and start your playthrough before the Umbral Sands update drops in June.
