UPDATE: Characters on the Defias Pillager realms have also been restored.
As of a few minutes ago, characters lost due to DDoS on the Defias Pillager realm have additionally been restored.
Blizzard just restored characters who died on the Classic Hardcore realm Doomhowl in North America during a DDoS attack.
If you’re among the affected, you should now be able to log back into your character on Doomhowl.
Yesterday, the Classic Hardcore realm Doomhowl in North America was impacted by a malicious DDoS attack, resulting in the deaths of some player-characters.
Today, we’ve restored the dead player-characters who were lost during the DDoS timeframe and remained on the Doomhowl realm.
That work is now complete and players who fit the above criteria should be able to log back into their character on the Hardcore realm.
