Blizzard shared the current known issues on the MoP beta, from Dual Spec not working to professions being removed, class-specific issues, the item socketing UI not working, and more.
We’re tracking the following issues and working to address them:
General
- Dual Specialization is not currently working.
- Active Glyphs are cleared on relog.
- Scenarios – Backfilling does not complete
- Due to several issues with professions, they are not available.
Classes and Combat
- Specialization respec is currently free.
- Mana regen rates in the UI may be lower than the actual mana gained.
- Hunter – Spells: Ice Trap fails to create the area of effect.
- Hunter – Aspect of the Iron Hawk: Aspect shows as active on hotbar even when deactivated.
- Mage – Mastery: Ignite: Remaining damage is not added when spell is reapplied.
- Mage – Alter Time: Alter Time fails to display a cooldown on the action bar.
- Shaman – Glyph of Chaining: Spell jump range increase of Chain Heal is not applied.
User Interface
- The item socketing UI is broken.
- Lua error when viewing the Core Abilities tab of the Spellbook window.
- Scenario Accept Screen missing background art.
- Multiple icons are squished on the player’s minimap.
- The filters on the minimap may not track properly, if you turn them on and off several times.
- The PTR Bug Reporter window opens behind the talent window.
