It seems there are a few too many players running around Outland! Some have complained that the crowds in Burning Crusade Classic zones are a bit too much around questing and gathering profession areas in the open world. Blizzard will be implementing some adjustments to just how many players you’ll be able to see, as they reduce the “congestion” that’s been happening. The changes arrive with realm restarts in a few hours.
Over the last couple of days, we’ve seen a lot of feedback from players that in many cases, there are too many others nearby when you’re questing or doing gathering professions in the open world.
Today, we’ve developed some configuration changes that should hopefully reduce the congestion while retaining the feeling that the world is still well-populated. Those changes will go live during our currently scheduled realm restarts in a few hours.
We’ll continue to keep a close eye on this going forward, and we’ll adjust things further if necessary.
