Things are escalating quickly in the WoW mount game! After some modest beginnings with repair NPCs on ground mounts, scaling up to transmog a few expansions later, we now have walking Auction Houses and mailboxes, as the Gilded Brutosaur has returned. But that’s just over here in the West. Things are skyrocketing over in China, as not only did they recently get an announcement on two awesome customizable panther mounts, they’re also getting a flying vendor mount!
A Very Communal Deathwing
That’s right, CN servers will be getting Emberbringer on Classic realms. It’s an 
Obsidian Worldbreaker-like model, with two whelps flanking it, one a repair vendor, the other a mailbox! All other things aside, having a whelp as a mailbox is pretty cool, as it can literally fly off and bring your mail in!
The mount and the panther ones are part of a celebration for the launch of the Titanforged Classic realms. To get them, however, players will have to participate in a “treasure hunt”, which is just buying points you can spend in Classic or retail to get to open a treasure chest that might contain the mount.
While these aren’t quite as big a deal as the addition of the Auction House way back in Battle for Azeroth, they’re still very much escalating the mount vendor game! Would you want this type of mount to come over to the Western version of WoW? Can you imagine the shenanigans of other players trying to repair on your mount while skyriding? Luckily, this is for Classic, so that won’t be a problem for Chinese players.
