Here’s an interesting experiment, as a player sort of modernized the original WoW box cover using current in-game models!
A Modern Blast From the Past
3dbdotcom decided to merge WoW’s actual game look today with the OG box cover art (well, for Alliance at least)! It’s a fascinating combination of the original art piece and the new looks of the models, blending new and old. It also looks pretty damn close, some facial jewelry for the elf notwithstanding. The dwarf looks very close, with the gun actually having more detail in the game model version. The background itself is from housing decor, making the whole thing fully in-game!
