Here’s a handy reminder to get the most out of Legion Remix, as you can very easily check if you need to grab an ensemble, even if you have different difficulties of it already unlocked – and you don’t need an addon to do it!
An Easy Thing to Miss
Remix enabled Midnight’s new feature that fully collecting an individual difficulty’s set unlocks the lower difficulty ones as well. Except it’s even better in Remix, since you can buy any ensemble to unlock all the difficulty appearances. And there’s a very simple way you can check if you still need any pieces from any difficulty from an individual ensemble.
As PedjaLHS noted, the key thing here is that you could miss a lot of transmogs if you just check the “Already Known” text when hovering over an ensemble.
The game only checks the specific difficulty set you’re hovering! So to actually check whether you still have any of the four difficulty sets to unlock, it’s safer to simply buy any ensemble and try to learn it. If you already have every single piece, you will get the “All appearances are already in your collection” message. At that point, you can simply refund the ensemble and get your full Bronze back.
Why You Should Unlock Them Even If You Have the Looks
One more thing to mention here that we’ve already covered is that Remix sets are different from regular retail ones. Any ensemble you unlock here is actually cross-class, or rather, cross-armor type. What that means is that unlocking a Mage ensemble in Remix specifically will allow that set (and all its difficulty variants) to be used on all cloth-wearing classes!
So basically, the overall message here is you should just buy EVERY ensemble and try to learn it, on as many classes as you can! That’s a whole lot of Bronze. Alternatively, you can use addons or websites to check, but in this case, that might actually take more time than just spam clicking everything.
