Another WoW Legend: BillybobbsWoW Completes Every Achievement and “Finishes WoW”… for Now

We have another one! The great (and not at all official) Achievement Hall of Fame just received a brand new inductee, as another player has (basically) completed the game! 100% achievements for BillybobbsWoW!

You can follow Billybobbs on Twitch and YouTube!

In the Top 20

While many players already achieved this particular feat, it’s always a huge milestone to see one more joining the club. BillybobbsWoW isn’t even that far behind the curve, as the current No.1 spot holder only got there about 4 days ago. Now, this is due to the Data for Azeroth leaderboard basically resetting every single patch, as new achievements flood in, and that 100% is taken away from everyone. However, Billybobb just got to that 100% mark for the first time now, while the 18 players ahead of them probably just had to “refill” that 11.1.7 gap after having had 100% before.

In any case, it’s a huge thing to accomplish in the game, and for this particular patch, only 19 players have done it. It’s possible some former 100%ers just skipped this one, making the number smaller than it would usually be. But you’d think players with this level of dedication would just go for it each patch. Also important to note is that Data for Azeroth doesn’t actually have all the data of Azeroth, so there may well be other 100%ers out there!

The final achievement on July 13th wasn’t even 11.1.7-related. The Legendary Pet Brawler iconLegendary Pet Brawler was the last to get done, and was also the most annoying – but did not take the longest.

Of course, 100% achievements isn’t really completing everything in the game. There’s still plenty of transmogs, mounts, pets, and whatnot out there! But it really is as close to completing the game as you can get! And Billybobb is already at 72% of unique transmogs too!

Q&A

After such a feat, BillybobbsWoW answered many questions related to it. Here are some of the more interesting responses.

  • 760 days played is the magic number, but obviously not all of them were spent getting achievements.
  • The most fun ones to do were the raid-related achievements, while, unsurprisingly, the PvP pet battles were the worst, which explains why they were the last to get done as well. Five hours a day for two months spent pet battling does not sound like a lot of fun, indeed.
  • Bilbobb has 358 Legacy Achievements.
  • Aside from the pet battles, Nazjatar and Dastardly Duos got the most negative reception.
  • Vashj’ir and Mulgore get the top zone honors.
  • Once again unsurprisingly, What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been iconWhat a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been took the longest, around a year.
  • The big raid achievements weren’t bought, as Billybobb’s guild is World 170th.

Back to the Grind Soon

With 11.2 just around the corner, another reset arrives. Everyone loses their 100% and there’s many more achievements to get done than 11.1.7. The raid alone will take a while for a lot of the hunters. So good luck to everyone going for full completion once again in the next patch!
