Big Legion Remix Improvements and Retail Tweaks: Weekly TWW 11.2.5 Hotfix Summary, October 20th – 27th

It’s time for another weekly summary of all the changes that arrived to retail and Remix. It was another big week, with all of the focus on Legion, of course. But there were a few retail improvements as well.

Unlike in Remix, retail got a mount to fly, with the Hallow’s End Magic Broom iconMagic Broom hitting the skies again. Turbo Boost got a bit of a limiter, as the Infinite Growth quest wasn’t intended to be completed multiple times per week and was fixed.

Over in Legion, there were more improvements than you can count. The removal of duplicate pet drops was particularly appreciated. Priests and Druids got access to an artifact appearance again. Infinite Knowledge got fixes to award the proper amount of power once again after the Phase 2 patch. And then there was the big boost to DPS and healers at the start of the week, doubling their HP and upping damage and healing done. There’s plenty more below, so dive right in.

Classes

  • Death Knight
    • Unholy
      • An issue causing San’layn to grant all Gift of the San’layn associated buff again when resummoning pet ghoul has been resolved.

Items

  • Fixed an issue where Mythic+ dungeons completed prior to 11.2.5 did not count towards unlocking Fixer So’tho’s Turbo Boost offerings.
  • The Hallow’s End Magic Broom once again takes to the skies as intended.
  • Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho now offer Harvester’s Edict, Ceaseless Swarmgland, and Ara-Kara Sacbrood.

Quests

  • Fixed an issue where “Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth” could be completed more times than intended. It is intended that players can complete this quest once per week (including this week) after initially completing “Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow”. Players who completed this quest multiple times will find that it remains unavailable until others have caught up.

User Interface and Accessibility

  • Several abilities have been added as options to track with Tracked Buffs or Tracked Bars in the Cooldown Manager.

Legion Remix

  • Fixed an issue causing players to acquire extra Fledgling Warden’s Companions and Duskytooth Fel Snooters. Affected players will receive one final copy on the next login; these items may be deleted. The remaining pets have been redirected to their appropriate timelines.
