Game Director Ion Hazzikostas sat down with Associate Production Director Clay Stone to talk more about the Titan Reforged realms coming soon to the CN region!

Highlights

Note: This is a translated version of the original blog post published in Chinese. Some details may be slightly off due to translation nuances.

  • The Titan Reforged realms are launching exclusively in the CN region, allowing players to play through Vanilla, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King content simultaneously. There are currently no plans to launch them in other regions.
  • The level cap is 80. Talents and skills will be based off the WotLK expansion.
  • Raids from all 3 expansions will release in a randomized order.
  • All raids (including 10-player raids) will be re-tuned and balanced around 25-player groups with just one single difficulty available.
  • Gear is reforged to Level 80 stats.
  • Tier sets will only include 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses. Some set bonuses have been revamped and updated.
  • Legendary weapons will be relevant through the entire course of these realms, meaning you can defeat The Lich King while wielding Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker iconThunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
  • A new currency called Emblems of Order can be exchanged for reputation rewards and crafted gear.

Exclusivity that Hurts

For now, all we can do is watch as these servers roll out in the CN region, but there’s no doubt the WoW community would love to see Titan Reforged realms make their way to the US and EU! Blizzard, we’re waiting!
