Blizzard have clarified a question players have had about Housing availability for a while now. And the answer is yes, even if you don’t own any version of Midnight, you will be able to enter Public neighborhoods! You won’t be able to buy a house there, of course, as that requires the expansion, but you will be able to walk around and see other players’ houses. Presumably, this also means you will be able to enter friends’ houses.
Players who don’t have Midnight should still be able to go into a Public Neighborhood. They just won’t be able to purchase a House.
