Do it the Right Way!
Grafblaffer got demolished 60 times trying to solo it on a Subtlety Rogue with 650 ilvl — and the wild part? They couldn’t even get the boss below 85% HP a single time. After losing hope, they noticed most successful players were doing it as tanks. The community favorite? Blood Death Knight, with Protection Paladin as another solid choice – and they weren’t wrong!
Grafblaffer switched to his 645 ilvl Blood DK alt – and it was a game changer. Not only does the self-healing help massively, but the adds only take two bombs to die. You can also set Brann to DPS spec so he helps more during the shield mechanic.
After just 8 tries – they got it!
Role is the Game Changer
Another player, Plenty-Bed, followed the community advice – and let’s just say, it was trivial. They’ve been playing this season casually, without trying too hard. After Zevkir, they assumed this would be another annoying slog. But after switching to Blood DK and putting Brann on DPS – they actually did it while drunk. If that doesn’t convince you to give this a shot, I don’t know what will!
So even if you don’t have a geared up tank, it may be worth it to just get one to around 640 quickly with some catch-up gear to finish Underpin more easily.
