Echo and Method Take the Lead in Manaforge Race, Fractillus Down as WoW’s Race to World First Heats Up

The race has shifted towards the EU guilds once more on day 7! Fractillus, the 6th boss of the raid, turned out to be a bit of a letdown compared to the previous two bosses. Unlike Forgeweaver Araz and The Soul Hunters, the 6th boss didn’t receive any nerfs and went down much faster. We have three guilds with the 6th boss down, and it’s all on the penultimate boss now!

Catching Up and Taking Over

Echo started their raid day strong as they took down The Soul Hunters World 2nd, a few hours after they woke up. They went straight to Fractillus and just railed at the boss until he dropped dead 5 hours later! Meanwhile, as Method got their own kill on the Demon Hunters, Echo was already at 2% with Frac, and the World First was up for grabs. Echo didn’t waste their huge lead, however, as they took the 6th boss down shortly after that, after 33 pulls.

The full kill pull:

And the raid composition:

Around three hours later, we had a World 2nd as well, as Method also managed to push past the literal ice wall boss after the EXACT same number of pulls as Echo, 33.

Echo are now firmly in the lead, as they had many pulls on Nexus-King Salhadaar already, getting the penultimate boss down to 87%:

Echo will likely stop raiding soon, while Method will continue another 3 or so hours. Liquid started their raid day around an hour ago and have been putting in pulls on Fractillus, grabbing the World 3rd just 10 minutes ago! It took them 55 pulls to pull it off.

The race is getting really exciting now, with all three top guilds progressing on the same boss at the same time! Check out Raider.IO’s 25/7 live coverage for all the details!
