Something massive just happened on Blizzard’s end! Late last night, the very first Midnight Alpha build (12.0.0.62596) appeared on the “wowdev” CDN branch! If you follow WoW’s test cycles, you know what that means! The expansion has officially stepped into the pre-Alpha stage!
Midnight Alpha Replaces 11.2.5
The build didn’t just pop out of nowhere either! It straight-up replaced the old 11.2.5 patch that just hit PTR this week!
Will We Get an Alpha Date During Gamescom?
The big night happens to be August 19 and it’s definitely not out of question for Blizzard to announce a date for Closed Alpha F&F testing there!
