It’s no surprise that the Midnight Pre-Patch was bound to break a lot of things. Recently, Blizzard announced that they are aware of one of the more strange yet slightly annoying bugs in the new transmog system.
Apparently, faction-changing your characters currently breaks the new transmog system. So, anyone who plans to swap factions and most likely races will break their ability to transmog their character. So if you were looking forward to swapping your Blood or Night Elf Demon Hunter to the brand new Void Elf combo, you might want to hold off for a little while.
Can confirm.
We’re investigating this, and it seems to be the Faction Change that results in it.
