Some of the cooler mounts in Legion Remix are the four Bonesteed ones based on the Four Horsemen. Recently player noticed they had some strange Skyriding animations, using the regular swim movements. Players expected Blizzard to address this and, well, they did, but not in a way anyone wanted!
Boned Steed
Earlier today, players started noticing that their Bonesteeds simply lost the ability to fly altogether! Some even reported losing flight mid-air, but that just seems way too funny to be real.
It seems Blizzard noticed the negative commentary surrounding the swimming Skyriding animations, and instead of fixing it, decided to ground the mounts. It’s likely these four mounts were never intended to fly in the first place, and so didn’t have the needed animations. However, with players already getting these for 10,000 Bronze a pop, it does seem a little like false advertising. It’s not like Bronze is in short supply or anything, but it would be nice to get these skeletal steeds back in the air! Let’s hope this removal is only temporary as Blizzard add proper Skyriding animations to them! Did you notice your steed suddenly drop to the ground?
