While you’re off running that buffed mount and transmog lottery over in Ny’alotha, why not grab a guaranteed one along the way?
Danta returns with another great guide for players chasing Glory achievements – this time it’s for Glory of the Ny’alotha Raider. It’s now almost entirely soloable, and a great way to pick up an easy mount. The only exception?
Cleansing Treatment, which still requires one other player to complete due to a strict 10-second timing window. But even if you can’t/don’t want to get someone else involved, you can still grab all the other achievements and just wait on that one for a later day.
That’s One Wriggly Worm
The reward for completing the achievement is the Wriggling Parasite – a flying worm mount that’s… definitely unique. It may not win any beauty contests, but hey, it flies and it wriggles, as advertised. And it shows you’ve conquered one of BFA’s more annoying meta-achievements.

Key Highlights
- Requirements: All achievements can be soloed on Normal difficulty except for
Cleansing Treatment, which needs two players to clear the pustules within 10 seconds.
- Preparation: Some minor questing may be needed before the raid even shows up. Complete the Uldum or Vale intro quests to unlock the raid entrance.
- Recommended Addon: Instance Achievement Tracker – lets you know when you’ve met achievement conditions or missed something, so you don’t waste time.
- Caution: Avoid DoT trinkets/talents and don’t use Mythic difficulty – some achievements only work on Normal.
- Bonus Tip: If you mess up a fight, you can always retry on Heroic or switch to an alt.
Check out Danta’s video guide for a fast, simple walkthrough of each boss mechanic and how to handle the achievements solo. Whether you’re going for the Wriggling Parasite or farming Ny’alotha for the Collector’s Bounty goodies, this is one of the easier Glory raids to knock out now.
Good luck!
