Another solid batch of hotfixes arrives today in the pre-patch. We have quite a bit of housing work. The experience cap went up based on Endeavor completion, and Endeavor XP requirements got reduced for their first month! The Twilight Ascension pre-patch event also got plenty of improvements. We’ve already covered the big gear price and boss respawn reduction, but the once-per-day limit on gear drops from rares has also been removed! There’s also plenty of the usual quest and item fixes, so let’s take a look below.
Housing
- Increased the House XP cap to 2250 XP +250 XP per Endeavor completion, for a total of 2500 per Endeavor.
- Adjusted diminishing returns for repeatable tasks to increase rewards after multiple repetitions of activities.
- Improved the rewards for the non-Endeavor-specific tasks.
- For the first (current) month only: significantly reduced the amount of Endeavor XP needed to complete the bar for the first Endeavor cycle.
- Developers’ notes: This is intended to compensate for the fact that it’s the first month, and there is no record of player activity.
Items
- Fixed an issue that caused Dragonflight raid cloaks to convert to a set item not intended for your class.
- Added a sell price to the Ascension Arrestor’s Dagger.
Quests
- Fixed a bug that caused returning level 80 players to be directed to the incorrect content.
- Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to use the Path of the Chosen to progress quests during Xal’atath Lorewalking.
- Players can again complete “Nuke ‘Em Norbit” in Mechagon as intended.
Twilight Ascension Event
- Resolved an issue where the scenario UI was not available during the Mirrorvise rare event.
- Ritualist and boss health has been adjusted to make them last a bit longer for large groups.
- The price of gear on the vendor has been reduced to 20 Insignias (was 40).
- Champion track Warbound-until-equipped items will no longer generate an ‘Epic Upgrade’ notification when looted from rares.
- Equipment drops are no longer restricted to only one per day, per character, from each individual rare.
- [With realm restarts in each region] Rares now spawn every 5 minutes (was 10 minutes).
