We’ve talked about next-level housing plenty this past week, but this next home is taking that quite literally! Using the “floating house” technique, a player decided it was time for housing to make a big step, right into walker territory!
The Goodest Boy
Dhalsten got really creative with their home and decided it was also going to be a pet. In one of the most impressive builds we’ve seen so far, the house literally got legs and what looks to be a snout!

The legs are made out of upside-down Undermine desks and fences, which you can get at the Incontinental hotel. Also, apparently, all you need to do to get in is jump! And in case you’re having trouble lifting your house off the ground, here’s how they did it:
The sheer amount of creativity coming out of the one little detail of houses not being earth-bound it amazing. Hopefully, Blizzard doesn’t mess with this feature, as it’s entirely possible it wasn’t exactly intended.
A Great Additional Feature Idea
One of the more interesting points made in the comments thread is that a feature to save an existing house build, like a blueprint, would come in really handy. For example, Dhalsten would love to be able to select their entire house and rotate it. Restarting a build like this to try new things must be incredibly daunting, but if it could be saved, players would be much more likely to do so. Not to mention the potential of sharing builds with others!
How did you like this one? Is it in the top three builds so far?
