With the Ghosts of K’aresh behind us, Azeroth stands on the precipice of a future overshadowed by Xal’atath and the relentless advance of the Void. In The Warning, the stage is set for what comes next before continuing the story in the Midnight expansion.
Join the Housing Early Access Test on the PTR
When: October 16 – October 19
We’ll be running a limited-time test of the new Housing feature on the Public Test Realm (PTR) for anyone who wants to participate. You won’t need to have Midnight on your account to take part, however. It’s important to note that this test is for an in-progress feature, and we may periodically take it down or cancel it at any time as necessary.

Haul in Ghoulish Delights During Hallow’s End
Hallow’s End celebrates the break of the Forsaken from the Scourge. Fun and mischief reign as the Innkeepers of Azeroth dole out treats and tricks for those seeking to partake in the festivities.
When: October 18–November 1
Where: Trick-or-Treat throughout the Inns of Azeroth, Northrend, Pandaria, Outland, Draenor, the Broken Isles (Dalaran), the Dragon Isles, and Khaz Algar for tasty treats and currency to buy Hallow’s End goodies.
Brave the Headless Horseman’s haunting challenge daily for a chance to receive the Headless Horseman’s Ghoulish Charger Skyriding mount, and you’re guaranteed to gain ghastly pieces of the Headless Horseman’s Ghoulish Armor transmog set to add to your spooktacular Collection.
Throughout Hallow’s End, characters level 10-80 can queue up for this ghoulish encounter in the Dungeon Finder.

In Development: Week Three of the Midnight Alpha
Phase three of the Midnight Alpha is here and with it, players in the test can continue to level through levels 83 to 88, explore the Harandar and Eversong Woods Zones, take on two new Delves and one new dungeon, and more.
Midnight Alpha Phase 3 Content:

- Dungeon: The Blinding Vale
- Delves: The Grudge Pit and The Gulf of Memory
- User Interface Updates: Encounter Warnings
Over the course of the test, we’re inviting community veterans, press, fansites, and friends and family to check out the upcoming expansion and give us feedback.
Players selected to participate will receive an email invitation directing them to download the game client directly from the Battle.net desktop app. As always, please be aware of phishing attempts—if you’re unsure whether your invitation is legitimate, please log in to your Battle.net account to verify that there is a Midnight Alpha license attached (under Your Game Accounts).
