Update: Echo move into the lead as they get the boss down to tragic pull levels of 0.45%!! The guilds are 1.5% apart now!
The Race to World First has reached its pinnacle for this first tier of Midnight! We have the final boss just about to die. Not only that, we have the top two guilds neck-and-neck, progressing side-by-side and within 2% of each others’ best pulls, and under 2% away from the kill! And pull could be L’ura’s last, as the EU and US guilds are going to be pushing the boss until it dies tonight, no matter how long that takes!
The Pulls
Let’s start with Echo’s best, coming in at 4.0.7%, as phase 3 almost comes to a close, but that final Dark Archangel cast proves to be too much. Any deaths near the end of the fight are extremely costly, and Echo had 1 death for a short while there.
Almost at the same time, Liquid was having their own best pull, putting them in the lead! The 1.97% is still the best we’ve seen, and the same Dark Archangel took them down. Liquid had a player down for quite a while there, srarting around 10%, and he did not get ressed.
The race is in a fever pitch at the most so if you have even a passing interest in WoW raiding, you need to check these final pulls out! We are definitely in any pull territory, but it may also take a while to get that perfect pull. One thing’s for sure, these two guilds are going nowhere until it’s done.
