If you look closely near the Void creature’s left hand, you’ll spot architecture that looks unmistakably like Silvermoon City…

…but it’s already pretty clear who the main villain in Midnight is going to be.
What We Know so Far About Midnight
Midnight is a void-themed expansion taking place in Azeroth. The main theme revolves around the Void invading Quel’Thalas, trying to corrupt the Sunwell. We will help bring unity to multiple Elven tribes and prevent forces of the Void to extinguish the light of the Sunwell. Quel’Thalas will also be updated to support Skyriding.
This was all revealed by Chris Metzen at BlizzCon 2023.
What’s Next: Countdown to August 19
Anyway, August 19 can’t come soon enough. Keep in mind we should learn more about what’s to come on August 12 when the raid finale cutscene drops, which is still one week ahead of Gamescom’s cinematic!
