Today was/is the last day for the Legion Remix event, with it already being over on NA servers and having a few more hours left on EU. This was very much known, but it seems the in-game calendar didn’t track the exact timing correctly. This caused many players to be blindsided by Remix’s sudden conclusion.
A Matter of Time
Many players were getting some last-minute Bronze shopping done on NA servers today. However, quite a few planned their Remix endgame based on the in-game calendar. That turned out to be a pretty big mistake, as that calendar is very much wrong.
The calendar had Remix’s ending marked at 8 AM local time. However, blindsided players found out the hard way that Legion Remix was ending hours earlier! Some players had the correct timer on their login screen, but others claim the had the same mistake there as well.
It seems quite a few were still getting their Bronze shopping done as well, taking the presumed last few hours to clean out some outstanding items. This led to some particularly nasty results, with players getting kicked out of the event with a solid amount of Bronze in their bags, waiting to head to the vendors to clean them out one last time.
A Warning for EU Players
The same is true for the EU version of the event, which is still going on. EU players are faced with the same 8 AM end time in their calendars:
However, the login screen has the correct amount of time listed, at least for me, with the timer ending around an hour before the daily reset.
So if you were planning a last-minute EU shopping spree, remember it’s all over with today’s daily reset!
