These Class Buffs Could Flip the Meta Next Week

Blizzard just unveiled a new wave of class tuning that will go live next week on September 9.

  • Classes that receive buffs include:
    • Blood Death Knights
    • Balance Druids
    • Beast Mastery Hunters
    • Holy Priests
  • Discipline Priest’s Atonement now heals for 33% of the damage done (up from 28%), but Atonement healing is increased to 100% outside of raids (was 125%).
  • Multiple classes received PvP adjustments.

Here’s an overview of all the class changes:

Following the last round of tuning, we continued to see most classes move very close to our intended tuning targets in group content, with a few classes coming up a little short and requiring some more adjustments to bring them around. In PvP, some outliers have emerged at the top of the charts.
