The speed demons are at it again, and Remix is offering some speedrunner-level numbers for regular players! We have a complete guide for how to get sub-1 hour max level characters (presuming you have the 400% bonus XP capped), with 1.5 hours being the worst case scenario.
Now, we’ve seen the true speedrunners hitting 80 in around 20 minutes in Remix already, but this one’s for us regular folks!
60 Minutes to 80
WindowsKillerQc decided to share their speed leveling method and optimizations for Remix, and they aren’t even that complex! They managed to get to 80 on a Discipline Priest in 1 hours and 6 minutes, but with an imperfect run, so sub-1-hour is very doable.
First things first, as mentioned, you’ll need the maximum 400% experience buff from leveling other characters to max, Infinite Research, and the zone completion achievements. The 1-hour mark is achieved with healers only, as you’ll get the fastest queues that way. DPS might be looking at closer to 1.5 hours. Obviously, you don’t need the full 400%, you’ll just be a little slower the less you have.
Legion Remix Helper will speed things up a little, as it auto-adds Infinite Power. There’s plenty of quest skipping, with the aim being to get straight into dungeons and raids. Getting the right combo of Infinite Research is also key, but it’s fine if you don’t as well. Interestingly, a solid chunk of the leveling comes from flying through demons! Special Infinite Research assignments come in at level 20 and you want to aim for the flying through demons and gathering ones. The rest of it is regular raid spam, but there’s plenty of tips there too.
