As of this week’s Midnight Beta build, you can create Level 90 pre-made characters on level-up realms (Halduron, Liadrin, Lor’Themar).
Why is This a Big Deal?
If you wanted to jump into endgame features testing on the Midnight Beta, you previously had to level from 80 to 90.
The bigger issue was that Xal’atath’s Endgame realm allows creating max-level characters, but these are limited to dungeons, raids, and delves. Entering any outdoor zone would immediately cause them to teleport back to Stormwind/Orgrimmar.
What’s Different Now?
Now you can simply log in to the Beta on any level-up realm and in the Template Character menu now has a new dropdown option that says Midnight Max Level.
This creates a Level 90 character and you don’t need to go through Midnight leveling, ideal for those with limited time who would still like to test out the features without spoiling the campaign.
