Players just spotted a big new feature for Midnight, one that has been on wishlists for a long time! With the transmog system revamp came some big changes, and one of them is that daggers can be transmogged to other one-handers, and vice-versa! Unfortunately, there’s a catch, and it affects the ones that would benefit from this change the most: Rogues can’t do it.
Daggers to Everything… Unless You’re a Rogue
Puzzleheaded-Ad-5189 spotted the change on the Midnight Beta and shared it with the transmog community. Daggers are now part of the “One Handed Weapon” category and can be swapped freely! And it’s not just that you can change your daggers to other weapons, you can also change other one-handers into daggers!
That is, unless you’re a Rogue. That’s right, the ones that need/want it most actually can’t take advantage of this change. It’s most likely to do with some of their ability animations, like Mutilate. It’s important to note that it’s still the Beta, and Blizzard might fix the animation issues and release Rogues from this hell! As a recent Subtlety enjoyer, I’d certainly appreciate actually seeing my weapons, so I definitely hope this gets resolved.
