Blizzard are back with another weekly roundup, and this time we have Classic, retail, BlizzCon, and more!
Starting with Classic, the Burning Crusade Anniversary Realms got news of the second phase coming on August 27th, with Black Temple, Hyjal and all that comes with those raids. Then there’s today’s Midnight Season 1 ending soon post. it covers everything going away with the season, as S2 approaches. This week also saw many changes to Decor Duel, as the event leaves with the season and Blizzard doubled rewards. The BlizzCon bundle got announced, with rewards for several games, and WoW got a mount, a transmog set, and some housing decor. There’s a bit more below as well, so let’s get to it.

BCC Anniversary Edition: Black Temple Arrives August 27
Illidan Stormrage has claimed the Black Temple as his fortress and is amassing an army of fel warriors in his pursuit of power. Infiltrate the Black Temple and face the Betrayer in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary beginning August 27 at 3:00 pm PDT.

The Clock is Ticking on Midnight Season 1 Achievements and Rewards
With Season 2 on the horizon, now is the time to finish any remaining Season 1 goals. The following Feats of Strength, achievements, and rewards will no longer be available once the season ends, so gather your allies, make your final push, and claim your rewards while you still can.

Join the Final Surge of Decor Duels
Heed the final call to join Decor Duels before the doors close in this final surge before the Curse of Ula’tek goes live. To help you get the most out of it, we’ve made a few additional changes.
- Hiders will no longer be automatically revealed when thirty seconds remain in the match.
- Flies have been removed from Hiders who stay in one location for too long.
- The energy increase rate for Seekers has been reduced by 20%.
- Players will earn double the rate of Illusionary Coins
Once the dust settles and Decor Duel is no longer available, players will still be able to purchase Decor items from the vendors in Silvermoon City using Voidlight Marl.
These changes will be available after weekly resets.
