Housing enthusiasts are going to get their one of their dreams come true in Midnight, but for now, only certain expansions are mounted-lumber-friendly.
Mounted Logging
As we’ve already covered, Midnight brings a special set of achievements that will allow players to harvest lumber while mounted. But if you can’t wait that long to fly around and tear down some trees (and are not a Druid), there actually are a couple of expansions you can already do that in right now!
Battle for Azeroth and Legion have their own stirrup mount equipment that allows you to interact while mounted. 
Monel-Hardened Stirrups and Demonsteel Stirrups will allow you to grab 
Darkpine Lumber from BfA and 
Fel-Touched Lumber from Legion, respectively.
These will come in handy once Midnight arrives as well, as it seems as if we’ll need to re-harvest 250 lumber for each expansion to unlock free logging while mounted, since the achievements aren’t retroactive so far on the beta.

Here are a few tips and addons that make harvesting faster and more efficient, helping you complete these achievements with ease once they go live.
- Once you have your Harvesting Hatchet, you can stick to specific zones to maximize how much lumber you collect.
- FarmHud, GatherMate2, and Routes are some addons that makes this grind easier, and you can check out how to use them.
